Our Story
Previously know as the “United Association of Youth” , this organizations efforts originally began back in 2015 during the founders adolescence years alongside his cousins during their pretend church services. What was just backyard fun, later would become an entire neighborhood affair and many youth would develop an interest in this new organization and would join in hopes of furthering the impact that existed. It was during this moment of his life that he found his calling or inspiration of not being leader for himself, but for others and his community. With the help of families and friends, the reality of serving as a beacon of hope unfolded. Unfortunately, between 2018 and early 2019 the membership began dwindle and the efforts of this organization was placed on hold. Luckily, in 2020 the founder had a fresh desire to revitalize and finish the mission he started with the help of his ROTC and Student Government friends. With the new innovation the name “ Future Youth Leaders Society” was chosen and soon became legalized | incorporated in December 4th of that same year. After a year of servant leadership, in 2021 the organization was granted 501(c)(3) status as a non-profit organization. The purpose of Future Youth Leaders Society Inc. is to help innovate young people and enable them to become well equipped for the real world. Alongside leadership and mentorship, FYLS Inc. works to also rewrite the false narratives forced on them by society. Regardless of their past or present situations, we believe they simply deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.
